To access the FAC system, you must use your Login.gov account. FAC does not manage usernames, passwords, or account details—you’ll manage those directly through Login.gov.
Resetting your Login.gov password
If you forgot your password or can’t log in:
Go to Login.gov
Click “Forgot your password?”
Follow the prompts to reset it.
If you're still unable to access your account, contact Login.gov support for assistance.
Changing your Login.gov email
To update your email address:
Log in to Login.gov
Go to “Manage account”
Add a new email and set it as your primary
You can then remove the old email address
Note: Updating your email in Login.gov does not automatically update your email in the FAC system. If your Login.gov email changes, contact the FAC Helpdesk to update your FAC user access as well.
Forgot which email you used?
If you can’t remember which email you used for Login.gov:
Search your inboxes for an email from no-reply@login.gov
If you still can’t identify it, contact Login.gov support
