You can delete an audit only if it is in “In Progress” status. This is helpful if you accidentally created a duplicate or need to start over.
Once deleted, the submission cannot be recovered.
To delete an in-progress audit:
Go to your Submission Dashboard.
Under “Audits in Progress,” find the audit you want to remove.
Click the red trashcan icon next to it. This cannot be undone!
If you don’t see the trashcan:
The trashcan only appears for audits in “In Progress” status.
If your audit is in another status (like Ready for Certification, Auditor Certified, or Auditee Certified):
Unlock the audit to return it to “In Progress.”
Once unlocked, the trashcan will appear and you can delete the audit.
Important Notes:
You cannot delete audits that have already been submitted and accepted by FAC.
We are working on a way for users to do this in the future, but for now, it is okay to leave the submission.
